The game is a lot of fun both single and multiplayer, and the updates are not too long and in-between when it comes to patches. It looks like the developers are taking into consideration a lot of people's reports and are not only taking feedback but also generally trying to make the experience more fun.

The game is currently in EA and is buggy here and there, if things change for better or worse I'll update this review.

At this time this game is a lot of mindless fun and I can definitely see myself easily sinking 100 more hours just making bases and having fun with and without friends.

Fun relaxing game, definitely recommend for anyone that enjoys organizing in a quick and painless way.

The story throughout the game is cute too.

Really fun game, and there was a lot of depth surprisingly to all the entries. Probably would have finished 10-20 minutes sooner if I hadn't been reading through to catch quips of humor or fun backstory between the characters and the main character.

I had a lot of fun playing it and recommend anyone that likes a little tedious grinding and funny dialogue to give it a shot.

I bought this during the Steam sale, but I definitely would have bought it at full price, heck even at 20-30 dollars. I highly recommend it, the reasons- long winded as they are, are below. I'll try to keep spoilers to almost a minimum. But there won't be anything too story heavy in here as much as just talking about certain facets of the game itself.

TL;DR:
10/10 For music, art. With the bonus of story and fun to top it off.

This game- Ara Fell, my goodness. What an adventure. I enjoyed this game probably more than most games I have ever played. I've enjoyed and played hundreds of titles between steam, and every console up to the latest gen. This game has left an incredibly impression on me. I can hardly put it into words how inspired the world is, and you can tell a lot of work and effort went into this game to make it what it was.

The entire world feels natural and unique, there's an incredible amount of ambience. Critters including birds and frogs are flittering or sitting around the world, making the entire place feel alive. The world has a lot of "jags" in a good way- it makes it feel like it really is a world in the sky that's crumbling and there's just impassable terrarain that reminds you somehow had to put it there, there's very little areas you can't "explore." Pretty much everything on screen is accessible to comb through and look for hidden treasures, which this game definitely does reward you for exploring with loot that far exceeds the shopping gear, and some even outpacing the craftable items.

There's a small chunk of side quests in this game and they reward you handsomely which makes you want to explore more and find more things!

After about 20 hours of playing the game. (This includes hardcore grinding to the point I was about double of what it recommended for any given area I entered at the time.) I just wanted to play it more, the game for what it is- is a short story that is stretched and filled with a mighty and fun adventure that might not tickle your emotions too much given the fast pace and nature of events, but will give your sense for adventure a quenching. The grinding also doesn't feel tedious and along with the music makes this game incredible- which to a lot of RPG fans will probably be music to your ears.

Speaking of music. 10/10. The music is lovely, and I can't get enough of it. It has music that floats through the air and fits the atmosphere for each area but is BACKGROUND music. Some music really likes to trumpet and overshadow what's going on but with this game? It was practically fitted into a slot that it always belonged. Without this game, that music wouldn't have found a more perfect match in my opinion, and without that music the game would have been less than what it is. The music didn't make this game, but it definitely gave it such a feeling of whimsy when needed, or sometimes it would be serious, or adventurous, or overall mystifying. Again, I want to praise the music. Hats off to that.

Next let's talk about the art style and direction of the game. I give that a solid 10/10 as well. The entire game as I mentioned earlier felt alive and that was in part due to how capitvating the world was made out to be. There were several areas in the game that were MADE to look even more beautiful and those were definitely really big treats. You think the entire world is finely crafted and then realize the pale comparison behind certain areas that look like everything was poured into them. I loved every bit of this game.

Overall I'd say it gets a solid 10/10.

Normally I wouldn't do this, there isn't such a thing as a perfect game, but there are such things as perfect scores, and to me this game got a solid 10 from me. I hope other people give it a try and enjoy it as much as I have. I'll probably do another playthrough at some point to see if I missed anything major. I grinded to over 40 including the final battles EXP and still felt like I could probably max out everything if I really had wanted to. The exp you get from the game is generous and I think it's because they really just wanted you to explore this world they lovingly created. Which for those that want to just view the story there is a "storymode" which allows you to enjoy the game at your leisure essentially.

Thanks for reading this and if you get the game let me know what you think~!

I went into this looking forward to a similar experience to Adventure Capitalist but I should have been going into this looking at it like something akin to Swarm Sim.

The game is extremely fun idle game (The clicking involved is really only in the beginning from my view point. You can buy auto clickers for some of the beginning science and it makes things a hell of a lot easier.)

It has a good music track just like the original game and I like how it's all set up. Definitely recommend it for people looking for a fun game to drudge through- it's a grind but I'm enjoying every minute!
