Gameplay/Gunplay is fine. But the way they went about the F2P model is absolutely horrendous.

The last time I saw something nearly this bad was StarWars: Battlefront 2 at launch... I'm not sure if 343i's/Microsoft's reason was to merely test the waters with these god awful amount of microtransactions and see if there would be any resistance with it so they can "fix" it later

The game is fun, but don't go in thinking you'll be able to make a Spartan:

"that’s uniquely your own with a rich and deep player customization system." Without opening your wallet.

Update on this Review (12/4): I've only lightly skimmed the issues this game ass, a lot of these has been said before, and if you do some research you can see it for yourself but I'll state some points without going too deep into it:

1) Gated/time sensitive progression. Along with the limited amount of customization where everyone essentially looks the same unless you dropped 20$ for a piece of armor.

2) Hit-registration is abysmal right now combine with the massive desync which is causing some rubberbanding as well, you can feel robbed in matches when you realize you dumped half a BR clip into someone and you're seemingly doing no damage to the enemy.

3) Certain weapons in the game have been nerfed from the first flights making them feel subpar to what you spawn with (i'm looking at you Commando). And other weapons just feel bad to the point where you don't want to pick them up and you'll stick to your basic AR.

4) There is a SURGE of cheaters currently in the game due to it being F2P and the lack of a good anticheat/countermeasures for these cheaters. You'll often wonder how that one guy with an AR melted you multiple times along with your team... and it's probably because of an aimbot.

5) Dedicated playlists are severely limited/missing from literally every halo game before this one.

6) 343 have developed Halo 4, Halo 5, and Halo MCC with a ton of issues. They have not learned a single thing from any of these games. I'm not sure how many chances you're willing to give them but at this point it's ridiculous. It's your call.
