I haven't even gotten all of the companions yet but I have enjoyed my experience so much. The main thing I can say for my time playing is "convenience", Veilguard provides me all of the convenient features I want in any similar game in the genre. The transmog system is great and upgrading allows me to keep whatever gear I want relevant and looking cool. Unlimited free respecs allow me to try out any build I want whenever I want, for myself or my companions. Being able to mess with my companions even if they aren't in my party, and being able to use their world traversal abilities even when not in my party is also good. These features being so convenient allows me to spend my time exploring and fighting instead of being in menus and not playing the game.

Then on top of all of that, the exploration is nice! The environments are breathtaking, and it's great to see so much color in fantasy again. I don't have an issue with the art style at all, but that's a personal preference for everyone. The writing, while perhaps not as deep as Origins, falls in line with what I expect from say Mass Effect 2. In fact, ME2 has its fingerprints all over this entire game, and as that was my favorite Mass Effect game, I'm not complaining at all.

TL;DR
Fun and engaging combat paired with lots of systems to control your experience as well as many quality of life and convenience features useful for any big rpg. Infinite respecs of your character and companions, an easy to use upgrade and transmog system, and the ability to tweak your character's appearance at any time in the hub. All of this together with an engaging story that gives context to lore from previous games makes an all around very fun experience that you can sink hours into.
