It's a bunch of game mechanics in a glorious pile covered in a space dwarf skin. The gameplay loop is to customize your character(s), Select an environment, and a mission within it. Finally, go down to the planet and do the mission. You and your friends can join up mid-mission with no invite required if you host your game. The areas are procedurally generated. The missions have primary and secondary objectives, with additional hazards or warnings to spice them up. The late game consists of theory crafting all sorts of builds and unlocking the rest of the pieces with your friends or strangers. Rock and Stone!
