This game has a reputation that is unparalleled for the psychological survivor horror genre. Steam friends I haven't talked to in years noticed me playing SOMA and started discussions. This is magnified because I played SOMA a significant time after release (6-7 years). While the psychological horror genre can definitely help contribute to the staying power, I think it would be disrespectful to confine it to the genre/s that best describe a indescribable experience. Usually the game play of defenseless searching isn't my cup of tea but here it just works. If I had played this game any earlier I don't think I would've been able to appreciate the gravity of the situation. I can't risk spoiling anything but I will never look at Schrodinger's Cat the same way.

The best game jam game I have played

Love It. One of my favorite games ever! It lasted about 7 hours, but those 7 hours were a roller coaster of heart warming events! The music was 10/10 the gameplay was 10/10 the plot was 10/10 etc. Definitely get this game if you love anime!
