Game is great, but requires the EA launcher which is utter garbage. Just absolute trash. Spent the last couple of hours trying to run the darn thing. 0/10 wouldn't recommend.

Just Cause 3 was awesome. I wass HYPED when JC4 came out. But the game itself just didn't deliver.
The fun I've had with JC3 came mainly from the chaotic gameplay. You run, shoot everything and everyone in sight, stick explosives to whatever seems explodable and everything just fits with the action.

In JC4, you have little ammo, so you either switch weapons even if you don't like them, or conserve ammo. You don't have explosives or guns, which means that destroying targets (such as generators, radar dishes or enemies) takes up most of your ammo. "Liberating" an area is boring. There's a set of a couple "go there, press that" missions which are rinse-repeated and unless there's a main objective or a drop you'd like - there's no reason to work for liberating an area.
Other than that, you die pretty fast. The grenade and explosion hell throws you into a too-long ragdoll mode, in which you practically become a bullet sponge, and if you manage to get out alive you must run away fast to recover, else you'd quickly find yourself in the same place. This is not "tough but motivating" kind of hard - it's just "dying too much to be fun" hard.

The lack of ammo and mission variety makes the game pretty much dull, with chaos not being as major nor fun anymore.

Was super dissapointed.

tl;dr - If you truly like the JC franchise, wait for a sale and you'd get a couple of hours of fun out of the game. Do not buy at full price.
