Game of the year deserved

With the 68 levels, I got a bit more than one hour of play time. Throughout playing I had two thoughts:

Dash is useless
and
Practically no punishment for deaths.

For dashing, I found that it was more troublesome to use effectively than to just not use it. I think adding some levels where you can only complete it by using dash would be good. It was also just an odd implementation of it and I could not really understand the practicality of it, since I was never required to use it.

For death punishments, I can go easy on this, because of the Pro Mode. I did not see that until after I had finished the levels. Now that I know about it, going back after some time and doing Pro mode.


Some suggestions:

Speedrun leaderboards for Pro, Non-pro, all energy/pro, all energy/non-pro.
Level Creator/Community Workshop Levels. (I imagine for this pixel art 2d platformer, it would not be too hard.)
More of those icy style levels with sliding. I just find those fun.



Overall thoughts:

Simple, not too difficult game with a good amount of creative obstacles. With speedrun leaderboards, it could keep my interest for hours. Great pixel art for the environment and player, but many enemies and obstacles could be more detailed.

Final Note: ♥♥♥♥ the Ghosts. WHY ARE THEY SO CUTE BUT SO ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BRUTAL

Super ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fun and addicting. Gonna go big once all the Youtubers hit the game.
