I don't agree with some of the balance changes, but giving it a positive regardless cause it's funny seeing the Chinese cope about not being able to beat A10 and must resort to review bombing/death threats cause some Bilibili streamer with a receding hairline told them to lmfao.

First and foremost, I think this game is genuinely really good, specially if you have a solid duo/trio. Reason why I'm giving it a negative review is simply because I have absolutely ZERO confidence in Bungie's ability to combat cheaters. Under normal circumstances, I don't think that'd be enough to give it a negative, but considering this is an extraction shooter, I think it's well warranted.

For the Destiny 2 players reading this, you know exactly what I'm talking about. Never forget the 70% cheater rate for Desert Perpetual. In the future, I'm willing to bet BattlEye will go down as one of the biggest scams in the industry. That being said, unless Bungie dedicates resources for an in-house anti-cheat, I don't think Marathon has a bright future despite being a very solid game.

If this isn't a testament to how abysmal ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ casual mode is, then I don't know what is. Great mod.

Game developers need to take notes, because this is how you make a proper sequel. First game was the best in the genre, and this game simply does what the first game did but more.

Jimbo infests yet another innocent indie game. Excellent.

Never has a video game brought out the worst of me as much as this did.

I'm fully convinced the studio janitor could do a better job at balancing the game than Arrowhead at this point.

Additionally, these clowns treat their community with absolute disdain. Especially in relation to their content creator program. It's beyond me how a company can act so unprofessional and deplorable.

Even more, they straight up ban you for saying even anything remotely close to "negative" on their Discord. Had a friend get banned for simply reacting with a puke emoji. Really wish I was kidding or exaggerating, but it's just genuinely that bad.

At this point, Arrowhead has proven to be a severely inept studio full of nepotism, fragile egos and a severe case of incompetence. It's a shame a studio like this somehow fell into the fortunate position that was Helldivers 2's release. Were it a more competent studio, one can only imagine where the game would be right now.
