Helldivers 2 is a phenomenal game for both its budgets and the dev's scope of possibility. I still have the clips of my first time playing the game and always find it fun. It has its bugs as usual of other games which seem to usually get responded to. Another large victory is the file size which was over 150GB, they managed it back to 20GB recently so if you're worried on file space, they handled it. Definitely give it a try and enjoy, dial up or down your difficulty as you need to.

The movement in the came is clunky as the characters do not respond well with given directional inputs, it is missing a significant amount on contextual movement that other games have had previously. Sometimes needing to do full 360 movements to start moving the right direction, getting caught on small ledges that are not being auto-clambered, leaping off of buildings when running a path that is very clearly obvious to go to the nearby tree as such is frustrating when it deliberately has you jump off the roof to the ground. The combat gameplay is rather mediocre as it feels the same from previous installments with no where near as much build variety, but now enemies also have armor! Something that needs breaking to get to their health pool, so even if you assassinate an enemy (You know, how previous games would kill them instead?) You remove only 2/3 health segments then have to go through the armor AND the last health segment. At least there is an option for turning on the guaranteed assassinations but it still irks me. Player view is also easily blocked by trees, cloths, or other items during fighting and honestly to be expected as that's a staple of the franchise, just not learning. Oh and the constant advertisement in the menus of the store for in-game items for a SINGLE-PLAYER experience. Certainly another subpar Assassin's Creed game, now where did I leave my copy of Blackflag?

The casing mode stealth for when I did play this was a rather cool idea, allowing stealth to be more sophisticated than 'kill four guards and anything else that gets in the way.' But overall, I feel like everything else is still rather shallow or a direct downgrade compared to Payday 2.

When you start, it takes forever to even grind to the area you probably want to be at. In Air Battles you're accosted by high level players that know every detail of the game which you won't meaning it'll be impossible to counter them. In Ground Battles it would be more manageable if the tech trees were not so widely out of proportion with Balance and high-level players know exactly which trees to abuse. Plus, it's a free to play game... And you already know how Free To Plays tend to be and this one isn't any different.

Update on this: Whilst Gaijin has done something to help with research, top tier air grinding is still entirely a problem. Playing out over 20 missions and only getting 5K RP out of a 410K needed for a plane is actually insane.

Titanfall 2 has so many interesting aspects about it that make it my personally beloved game. Between the well told story's beginning to its finish. It has always been in my remembrance especially with the mission Effect and Cause being a huge difference between most campaign missions I've played. There was so many good ideas for the campaign implemented, and makes me wonder what else was thought of for the game. The multiplayer is also another great aspect that I enjoy, and still can pick up pretty well. Ever since the Technical Test went live, I played that and enjoyed it thoroughly. The great mobility in a PvP environment was great, and then there is the PvE aspect of the multiplayer as well, making a great PvPvE scenario that makes the player stand out from simple foot-soldiers into real game changing tactics. One minion kill could be the entire difference of a game and helps keep the players on even footing when rolled right. The teamplay can go either way as a solo-flying Pilot keeping to quick corridors or out helping your Team's Titans with taking batteries and repairing friendlies or your own. No matter what, when I come to think of a great Multiplayer experience, I generally have to give it to Titanfall 2. Each game has its ups and downs and quirks and this game has its fair share, but I can take weigh the thinks it takes in stride over the negatives.

This game, despite the amount of time it has been released and even to now still has massive issues with matchmaking, proper balancing, millisecond timings and all the likes. The learning curve is still steeper than the damned slopes of Everest somehow so if you're new you're absolutely going to be destroyed and demoralized. I would 100% not recommend this game for any type of fill for sword-clashing fights because it is, and never shall be in a healthy state.

And now with Ubisoft's entire failure, I am happily awaiting this game to be taken offline from their servers because of how bad of a travesty this entire game is. Cool game thought child, terribly bad execution.
