I did not expect to get this much enjoyment out of this game, I thought I would play it every now and then get bored of it since I've played so much of Elden Ring and Dark Souls already. But, this format, this way of playing just hits home for me.

I enjoy it both solo and with friends, co-op here actually feels like a challenge, Being able to just get straight to the good part (cool bosses) without having to start an entire new play through is really nice. The characters are all really fun but some clearly outclass others, despite that I enjoy playing as most of them.

Some people have been complaining about the lack of a way to play duos but the developers have stated that they are implementing that soon so if that is a dealbreaker to you, maybe wait until that update comes out.

There are so many things to love about this game; the music, the customizability and the writing being the parts that stand out the most. There are a couple of bugs that were annoying but didn't ruin the experience for me and after a certain point you become powerful enough breeze through the game but even at that point I was still enjoying myself through the the oozing atmosphere and story, and a bit of power fantasy never hurt anyone!

9/10, decent I guess.

This is the most solid and entertaining co-op game I have seen in years.

You know when you are sitting with your friends in a call and saying "Hey, we should play a co-op game" And then the question comes up "Which one?" and you all start trudging through steam to find a decent one and you just cant seem to find one? Try this game, it's a great co-op game, it is tons of fun (more than it looks!)

It is very good.

Why is this game so popular? Because it is a survival game that focuses on fun. It is not PvP focused so if that is what you are after then this is probably not for you.

This is a PvE focused survival game that doesn't just add features because they are expected from this genre but instead adds what makes sense in a fun way. Building is very free and not restricted by PvP balance. Foraging for food and resources feels like an actual adventure rather than a slog. It also very much the feel of nordic wilderness and gets vikings right.

I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ love devil may cry, this fine return to the series roots has you juggling enemies in the air whilst riding your mechanical rocket arm WHILST eating pizza WHILST reving the gas on your SWORD WHILST FIGHTING DEMONS WHILST THE MUSIC KEEPS GETTING HYPER AND I COULD DO THIS ALL DAY.

Very fun game. It is like a bunch of games mashed into one, First you look for clues like the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ scooby gang, then you try to not get killed by all the dogs and bee ladies and maybe other players. After that you figure out that the monster is actually old grump McMillen and chop his head off for a bounty, which is followed by everyone on the server dedicating their entire being to hunting you down unless you can get to a boat.

Edit: Updated this review as some things have been fixed since, the kinks have been worked out and now the game rocks. My only issue is that there's no quick way of turning off all "unlocked new thing" icon as sometimes you have to go through a maze of menu's just to get rid of them. I mean you could just not care but I have brain goblins, man.

If you like roguelikes this is one hell of a roguelike. Quite a lot of replay value until you finally unlock all the stuff and even then there are a lot of fun ways to alter gameplay to play in new ways.

It's allright I guess.
