10/10 they threw a blackhole at super earth

its just skyrim in space and it feels just as "original"

fun game with friends to vibe on but it sucks that the only content you get is a dev diary once a year and no content to the game outside use made stuff

i love this game, i love how nice it is in reference to the movies and its really fun with friends. but the replay loop falls flat a little fast for the amount of ppl in the games community making you only able to really do offline or just the 1v3 since you cant have AI fill teams for everything and the amount of maps altho are fun are a bit eh do to how the movie set it was based on tends to just be long hallways with rooms and such.

some major things to note is that humans are either OP or really underpowerd just depending on either map or if you are fighting the totems, they feel ok fighting puppets

puppets are good but need to pivot really hard onto vocal team play to get any real work in and bc of low player numbers you cant really have a strong team composition to match the needs of the game untill you can get decapatron so you can at least find and stun the human more often

totems are good-ish they are really really strong and aggressive but no one tends to play them so they dont really get any time in a match but the dominator and the spear one feel really busted

lastly altho i want to talk about the demonic toys, they arnt in game yet but i feel like they would play similar to totems in a slightly less offensive way compared to the totems. personally i think adding the axis of evil pupets would have been a cool side-grade and it would help fill out the character roster and add at least a map or 2 but other that that a new map to echo curse of the puppet masters set would be really cool and it would help break up how same same everything feels since the 3 ingame maps were all from the same movie set from the 4th and 5th movie

its a bit short, the expansions could be a lot better and should have been way longer but the game is not the worst player experience its just a bit short and expensive for asking price but its at least fun with friends

I like this game i really do but it needs so much more variety and less mundane options as well as cards that could fit the theme cards better for their grammer and it badly needs to set it self apart from cards against humanity since its the direct comparison and where im guessing a lot of insperation was taken from im just hoping the devs can pull some punches to make some funny cards and perhaps have seasonal events where theme cards could drop like a thanksgiving or xmas thing or something, over all i have high hopes for what the dev can do here

as i am currently reviewing this the game is on update 1.06 and there could be a lot that may change so keep that in mind when reading this

1. the story feels short and most of the game would be cardboard unless you do all of the side quests. if anything it feels like most of the game is cut content that we should have gotten in the first place.

2. the gun play is like a 5 or 6 out of 10 and in all honestly it deserves a full update on its own

3. perks in most of the game are so small that for the most part you can play most of the game and see no major change

4. crafting is ok

5. stat checks are useful but meh

6. cops are a pain and if kill one on accident you could have like 7 spawn behind you and in all honesty its just a pain

7. finishing the game is nice but when you finish the game you can get an armor set however after the end credits it roles back the save so you don't get anything at all! not even V's mansion if you do the Rogue ending

8. the bugs are heavy in number but for the most part some of them arn't game damaging anymore

over all i give the game a solid 6/10 at the lowest and 7/10 at most and in all honesty it needs to be put into early access at should have at least a year or 2 more on the game with way more content

im going to be honest i havent played for a long time but i did start playing on and off when the game was still in early early early access from a bit before i think it was dreagast that had did a playthrough and in all honesty i do like the game but it does not do great with a player friendly start and its in all honestly in need of a small tutorial so its not overwhelming but i do like the game but its just a bit much at the start tbh.

and ghosts are the most terrifying thing i have ever seen in this game

just take a long break or move on, the game wont change anyway so unless you are gonna foot the overwhelming cash to play then just try something else
