Sometimes games in early-access don't get the love they need, but this game has been receiving consistent large updates from the start. The progression system is great and combines some random-chance systems with some non-random chance systems so you can mostly build your dwarves how you like them and still have endgame progression. The biggest problem with the game right now is that there aren't many different mission types, but the devs said this will be a focus of theirs after the 1.0 release scheduled for Q2 2020.
