I really enjoyed what Capcom has done here.
The game is fun! Which is something I personally never thought I would say about a modern Resident Evil game, but here we are! The graphics look really good, the gameplay is pretty solid, and the voice acting is well done.

The concept of the 30 minute demo seems to be the major issue the negative reviews are pointing out, but... It's a demo.. A pretty good one, designed to leave you wanting more. No, you're not supposed to see everything. This isn't a company hiding flaws this is a company trying to engage you and leave you wanting more, which is the whole point of a demo.

One flaw I did see is that when interacting with the enviroment and bringing up the inventory, the UI is pretty sub-par and a little awkward to control, and I don't like the "Left click to use" aspect of interaction, but I'm assuming that can be changed with key binding, or switching to a controller which I will definetly try out when I replay this on the Xbox.

Highyly reccomend you check out the demo, as its... you know... Free. And form your own opinions on wether or not you'd like to buy this game. For me I will definetly be considering it.

Game of the year potential right here.
