Played a good amount of the demo and REALLY enjoyed it. purchased the full game...and wow.. the whole map has opened up.. new fish... new baits... new places to explore. im looking really forward to sinking my teeth into this.. it has me hooked!! (pun intended)
deffo worth the price

Great game, have enjoyed playing for many years

I will say... its a very addictive and satisfying game
Almost has a gambler addict kind of feel, opening up a storage locker and seeing if you make profit.

There are lots of items you can find, with all different values and sizes and already enough content to keep you going for some time.
That being said, its still very incomplete... however there is much more the devs can do to flesh the game out, many more ways they can add content to allow for a long grind and player retention.

Its good to see the Devs are active in the official discord, keeping players informed of new updates (which is nice) and have my fingers crossed they continue with the project until full release (hopefully within a year) and not drop it like most indie sim games recently.

I have to admit I was surprised on release in how much I would actually enjoy this game.

The graphics are great, its pretty well optimised and most importantly the gameplay is fun.

I dont understand why at the time of review, this has 30% review rating... sure I understand that there have been some quite major issues on release, however these are not long term issues.

current cons are obviously server stability, bugs around challenge and achievement completions.

there are some QoL changes which i think need to be changed such as UI changes, levelling system reworked, lobby interaction and solo P2P play. etc.. however I understand the game is only 3 days into release and these types of changes cant be done overnight...

I appreciate the dev team are working on the main issues such as server stability, and they have my confidence that once they have overcome that, they will start working on the players feedback and improving the game for us all to enjoy more.

People do need to get a grip, put down their pitchforks and try to be patient

Sea of Thieves is a wonderful game to play solo or with friends.

There is a lot of content and monthly updates with great new additions to keep you going.

What I love most about this game is you come across such a variety of people while sailing the seas.. this can be from a typical pirate who wants to board your ship and steal your plunder.. or even down to a really friendly chap looking to create an alliance and work together.

The art style of the game is great, Rare have done an amazing job over the past years.

With every game there are always bugs that are introduced in updates. but the developers seem to keep an eye on these and inform the community of the most important ones which are being tracked and worked on, with usually a fix put into place quickly depending on the severity or at a minimum within the next update.

Overall a great game, 10/10 and plenty of things to keep you going for hundreds of hours.

Iv got no idea why I still play this damn game.

Even though its early access, its very plain and simple, NOTHING to do apart from run around and find bags on the floor, build a house which takes a ridiculous amount of resources, animals which one shot you and chickens which are faster than you. this game is bad
