" Nice game with stressful issues "

This game is like Asian Game of Thrones with grind and RNG. You get to make your own army as you make a name for yourself doing quests, fighting people, etc. Note that I like this game because I like Mount & Blade, which has similar elements. This game is quite fun, but there are some problems with it.

Good & Bad

The good stuff:
- The price is actually great (if you're buying this during the discount)
- Has an "open world" with places to travel, just not as lively as you think
- You can start from a nobody and slowly become a very strong warlord
- RNG so not everything is the same
- Build your own army: You can grow a band of heroes and raise squads to fight with you
- Build relationships (friendship, diplomacy, politics, etc.)
- You can choose different classes
- Has random events and encounters

Issues I faced:
- Scaling kinda weird, you sometimes get pitched up against a very strong enemy despite having the rec level near yours
- Quests don't hold your hands. Sometimes I don't know where to find the person, what to do, which bandit to kill, etc. It is the most frustrating thing in the game imo.
- Interactions sometimes glitchy, especially when auto-moving to a spot or trying to click an item on the map
- Resource management is tough, especially when upgrading troops

Overall Thoughts
It's a game that has a likeable gameplay plagued by quality-of-life issues.Personally, the pros outshine the cons for me. I like this kind of gameplay, despite the problems it has.

Buy if: You want a good game where you start small and become big, rule over kingdoms, fight wars, play politics, grow an army. All for a reasonable price.

Skip if: You want AAA gameplay or you want a smooth, stress-free game without issues that can probably make your hair grow white.

Insurgency First Impressions Review

Note: This review is written in form of a first impression, that's why my playtime hours are low.

(A summary table is at the end of this review if you are lazy to read through :D)

I've thought this game was going to be nothing. Looking at all the positive reviews, I was like "Are you sure?" Then, this game came on sale. With a low price during Summer Sale, I might as well try it out. And boy, was I wrong about this game.

Entering a Cooperative match, I was confused at all the classes, weapons, mods, and objectives. However, I tried to be patient with this game and began to learn what was what. Soon, this game became one of my favorites (Even though my playtime is very low, because I just started it.)

The Experience

This game is not CS:GO nor COD nor Battlefield. It's so realistic you think you are in an actual war. Most of the time, the only way you'll respawn is when your team captures an objective. Your death means a lot in this game.
The gameplay and intenstive action of this game is tremendous. It keeps me at the edge of my seat at all times. For a beginner like me, it is insanely hard to spot an enemy especially at night. It's like a horror war game for me. But I'm loving it.

Each location/map this game has to offer will give you different experiences. Trust me, it'll be worth it.

The Very Good Stuff
No skins. No microtransactions. No pay-to-wins. This game is entirely dependent on your skill and teamwork.
Different classes offer different playstyles.

The Hard Part of this Game

This game is hard. If you can't spot an enemy in the distance, few shots from his gun can kill you very quickly. Especially in a forest or night environment where enemies are very difficult to spot (for newbies like me), you might have a hard time getting through it.

BUT. Practice makes perfect. Play more of this game and, who knows, you MIGHT survive World War 3.

(P.S. Play this with friends. It makes it wayyy better.)
