This is infuriatingly buggy. When it works it doesn't work quite as the board game intends, and then it keep breaking every so often anyway (freeze, AI won't do anything, strange results that don't match the dice, etc).
DO NOT BUY.

Simple, addictive, fun to experiment to find new combinations (try not to cheat by looking online!)
A steal at £3, excellent value (fun>cost)

The humour and the story make this game. Fantastic acting by the VO artists keep the immersion. The guns feel satisfying and the customising options are fantastic.
Honestly most of the missions are fetch quests or 'go push this button', and the enemies get pretty repetitive, but the rest of it gives the game such style and atmosphere that I didn't mind too much. The stories and the lore hidden away became the real goal for me. A world with real depth of detail. The effort that went into something so simple as a chain of emails between a couple of scientist at a desk computer really paid off for me. Great experience.
The Gorgon content fit into the world flawlessly. If I hadn't of known otherwise I would have thought it was a true part of the whole.

A very well produced digital version that stays absolutely faithful to the boardgame. Lovely graphics and music and some very intelligent AI. The interface takes a little getting used to but feels good once you grasp it.

A truly absorbing atmosphere and an engaging story. A very interesting mechanic allowing a great deal of exploration into just how strange life can be... A game to get lost in for a couple of hours at a time.
Highly recommended.

Don't let the retro simplistic style fool you, this game is both utterly absorbing and a great challenge.
In a glorious soviet nation of the 1980's you have the responsibility of border control...
Will you: Be nice to the people and stick it to the man? Become an Iron hearted state trooper? A balance just to feed your family back home?
In this game it really feels like your decisions matter. And there's 20 different endings to find too!

For those that always wanted more depth to the likes of Civ and Total War. A Strategy game with a large emphasis on family and continuing your Dynasty! Alliances, strategic marriages and, of course, just plain war!!

Highly addictive! Highly recommended!
