I've just about hit 10 hours in the game, near non-stop play from the moment I first opened it up. I can already say that this game is going to be keeping me busy for a very long time.

The best turn-based tactical combat I've seen in a long time.
Support classes actually do their job and do it well.
The cats occasionally join in to sing the song, which is awesome.
You can accidentally give your cats malaria.

My absolute favorite short horror game, everything about it is perfect.
It's one I can't help but think about even years after I played it, the world and story are just so captivating.

I had a lot of worries about the movie when it was originally announced, the thought of Markiplier directing and starring in the movie brought a lot of fear that it would be quite cheesy or feel off. I didn't want to watch my favorite little game be associated with a bad film, no matter what kind of bad it could've been.
But holy hell, he really did it. Mark gave this game a movie worth watching, one that had me barely containing my excitement through the entire film. I want nothing more than to be able to sit and watch it over and over with a proper theater setup, it was amazing!

Please buy this game, especially if you watched the movie and enjoyed it, or at least had some curiosity about the game afterwards.
I hope for plenty of merch relating to this game now that the movie is out. I expect to collect it all!!

Bought this in 2019 as a huge lover of Steve. They changed this voice and removed his powerful cry, no longer will I hear the beauty of Steve off in the distancing

A sweet and simple game great to play during a slow afternoon.

It's decent funny and even a bit challenging! I still need to revisit it to get the one last 5 starred level I'm missing for the last achievement haha

A wonderful game left to rot without promised content by it's... uhh... very loving developers

I can only recommend buying it if you plan on MODDING. Please at least get Frackin Universe! It expands upon the game and fixes SO much. I seriously cannot stand playing through the base game anymore without FU installed, it makes everything make sense.

One of the games I recommend most to people looking for small unknown indie games. I LOVE Hive.
For only $5, I think it's a steal!

It's simple yet decently difficult and a great game to spend some free-time on.
I love each of the different stages and finding my favorite way to tackle each of them as quick as possible, it's really nice having the addition of time related achievements as well!

There's multiple types of towers to help combat the different types of soldiers and their queens.
There's many resources to gather and maintain while trying to avoid provoking the hives too soon.
And there's these fun little essential plants you can find around the map to click and collect while you're waiting for other resources to build up, I love these things.

The art direction is one I appreciate quite a lot: The colors are gorgeous, the enemy designs are great, the animations are even pretty decent too! It is not at all a game I struggle to look at for hours on end.

I definitely wish there was more content as I could see myself playing it over and over and over if there was. Perhaps revisit Hive sometime to give us another stage with a new challenge? :)

It's a big hope that someday this game picks up a little bit of the traction it deserves.
At that point, maybe we could see some neat little steam cards of the queens and the soldiers!

This game is hands down one of the best co-op games you can get your slimy little fingers on.
Do not go into it expecting a perfect Resident Evil experience and look at it as it's own thing, they shouldn't be compared.

Just sit back and don't take it seriously, enjoy how funny it can be, enjoy the stupidity, request eggs from each other and admire Albert Wesker's fine choice of clothing.

DO NOT PAY FOR THIS GAME!
It is not at all worth the ridiculous $44.99 tag it is currently priced at and never will.

They take away content, they take away game mechanics, they take away even the ability to dress up all pretty with a man breast window (Leather duster + overalls combo will live in my heart forever) just to sort of bring it back as DLC without any real options unless you want to spill out money like you're trial-running child support, even then the options are lacking.

The game is nothing of what we were promised, the game continues to go deeper and deeper down the drain. I have major doubt they will ever fix it. I doubt they will ever care to give us the 7 Days to Die we were all excited for.

I will never recommend this game after watching it be beaten so poorly by The Fun Pimps.
You'll only catch me playing old updates, I won't touch the garbage they're trying to feed us.

Do not pay for this game.

Such a wholesome and emotional experience. I recommend your first play-through being purely alone with headphones and no distractions, you will not be disappointed. The music and overall sound-design is absolutely stunning; it left me breathless and even made me cry a little. I would do anything to experience this game for the first time again, I want to forget everything so it's all new to me.

Once you're done with your first play-through, there is SO much to do with your friends and by yourself. There is yearly events and seasonal missions to complete, lots of cute cosmetics to make your sky-kid look apart from the rest, tons of places and secrets to explore and plenty of little activities to do with friends and friends-to-be.

I've met wonderful people on there, one of which being someone I consider a very good friend now. You're connected with people all over the world and have access to an in-game translation tool to help communicate when language barriers try to get in the way. Although, this tool may have issues here and there leading to some confusing moments.

I find this game has been so pleasant to play with family and with my long distance partner due to all of the expressive emotes and silly shenanigans we can get up to together.
