I have played Destiny 2 since its launch. I played this game on the Xbox 360 and bought all of the DLC's, up until it came to PC, where i once again preordered it and bought all of the DLC's to date. I even bought the season pass collection, and donated an extra £39 from my own wallet to a charity fundraiser that they held. Yet in the last 2 season (roughly 4 months), this game has gone from one of my most favourite games to one of my most hated.

Good things about this game:
- It has a great storyline to play through and immersive yourself into
- It has lore behind every weapons and armour piece, which all connect to one another
- It has single player and multiplayer activities meaning you can be a solo player or play with your friends
- It has a good combat system, which is easy to understand and navigate
- It has good graphics
- It's free to play

Bad things about this game:
- Lacking in "endgame" content (all the content is stale after a few runs)
- Little diversity in ANY of the guns/armour (mostly reskins)
- Community can be toxic (as can most games communities)
- New content is stale and can be completed within a few days leaving you weeks before anything new gets released
- Bungie is rarely seen doing what fans ACTUALLY want, and seem to do things that either make no sense or that get them a bigger fanbase

Endgame content:
What Bungie classes as "endgame" content is raids, raid lairs & trials (competitive PVP that is only active during the weekends). Every raid in destiny tends to have different loot within it, whether that be armour/weapons/ghost shells, a mass of lore, and new mechanics in every new raid to keep players entertained; however once the raids have been played through a few times, they tend to get stale and boring to complete. All of the loot can be collected within just a few runs, which makes the raids semi pointless other than grinding better light gear loot and better stat rolled armour (or better rolled weapons) - something that only exists in a select few of the raids. This means that the first few raids/raid lairs (that have been untouched and unchanged since their release) have no new content to give the players since their release. Even the weapons/armour have static drops, making them pointless in almost every activity. Since these raids have been untouched since their release, even at the time of this post, there are glitches and bugs that can be found in these raids that have been left unfixed, in favour of developing more armour that is a different colour from armour brought out the year before. As for Trials Of Osiris, which is meant to be a competitive PVP gamemode, unless you are a PVP sweat, use cheats or just know every map like the back of your hand, you won't get any loot. The maps change on a weekly basis keeping everything fresh, however every week feels the exact same - you jump into game after game after game playing the same 3 people that have been playing PVP none stop for the past 3 years, who wipe the floor with you and teabag you. Or you encounter cheaters - which happens A LOT. This is because instead of putting trials behind a paywall, Bungie did the genius idea of making it free to play but requiring a light level to enter, meaning that everyone who has aimbot/wall hacks/god mode can make a free account, hop into a game and use as many cheats as they want with no punishments!!

This content used to be good, then they brought out the season passes and the game became more of a "when will Bungie listen to the community and bring content we want" rather than the awesome company and game it used to be. In this current state of Destiny 2, in my own opinion, it isnt worth playing - not until Bungie start listening to the community and fixing up the game and its lack of content and cheating issues amongst other things.

TL:DR - Lack of content, endgame activities are pointless after few runs - not worth playing in current state (wait till Bungie make it a good game again).
