Not very good, its gimicks get in the way, it is the loudest controller ever and the settings are so finicky it is very easy to make a game completely unplayable. Also the palm buttons are usually defaulted to buttons you don't want to mash when gripping the controller hard. Recently mine has started not interfacing with games at all until a system reset. It thinks I want the joystick to control system volume despite having played the game normally hours before.

Recent updates made it so only xbox controller prompts appear and there is no way to disable that.

This is terrible and just plain not fun peek-a-boo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.

Addendum: The music is really tight though.

8.5/10--Pretty Cool

This game looks cool; is cool. The story will make you think, and regret many decisions. Very rarely do battle seem to ramble on without being interspersed with continuing plot and the waves of enemies are nicely varied and not too endlessly numerous to make a chapter a pain to complete. The graphics are very nice with a pallet of mainly oranges and blues ( cf. the parts that sand and water play in the progression of the story) but still allowing some scenes of vibrant greens and dastardly reds as well as blinding whites. Character animations and models are mostly very realistic, with only a few pizza party animatronics moments. However the visual variations between non-plot characters tend to be few and towards the latter quarter of the game one particular yell kept sticking out, seeming as if every other guy was letting out this one "Wilhelm scream". The use of the player's two companions as being able to specifically execute commands was not pushed had enough either. The AI of the companions is very non intrusive and will only work to help, being very easy to access the controls to command them and them not every even being able to do anything that would impede/harm progression.
