This game is simply too easy. My friend and I and are a duo. We don't even build the op builds; we set the difficulty on "Hard."
It's sad to say that Borderlands 3 was waaaayyyyyy harder. The only decent boss that we found ourselves having to be more "sweaty" is one of the pits' bosses. EVERY SINGLE BOSS in this game is a piece of cake.
We were promised that different bosses have different mechanics. I don't even know what the bosses do because they die too quickly (mind you, even without having a solid build), and even if they are too tanky to die quickly, then they are so weak that I just mindlessly wander around the arena without even thinking about avoiding their abilities.
EVERY BOSS I ENCOUNTERED - I prayed that it would be a hard boss, a boss that could one-shot me, and I would have to be careful of - It just never happened.
They promised us that there are going to be areas where monsters would out-scale you. EVEN people here said that the "middle are/end game area" is hard because monsters out-scale you with 3-4 levels ---- I HAVE NEVER SEEN A MONSTER THAT OUTSCALE ME MORE THAN 1 LEVEL --- and even that, was just easy.
Borderlands 3 had much more monster diversity. Here, the variety is so low to the point its not engaging.
They said its an open world - open world my ass. Games that are published 10-15 years ago, have better open world than this ♥♥♥♥
The Mayhem in bordelrnads 3 was way more punishing, you literally felt the changes in every mayhem you go to. We went from UVH1 to UVH2, and there was no difference. It is just too easy. What's the point of farming, when you literally don't need to be stronger, because you melt everything before?
