Most of the people I meet on Steam don't remember the 90's too well or are children but back then people were obsessed with screensavers, useful programs that prevented CRT phosphor burn-in. Once in a while you had some naive user download a malicious program under the guise of a screensaver, unaware elders and parents would fall for this not knowing the danger and next thing you know, you'd have your family screaming about thousands of dollars in charges on their Visa card originating from some former Communist country which causes the bank to close your account and force you or your loved ones on the street.

This ladies and gentlemen better have been the screensaver that screwed them over.

TL;DR: It's not a game but screen candy and ain't half bad at being so.

A fast pace fighter with generally well balanced mechanics. The artwork is top notch with all the frames animated in a fluid manner. Sink in a few hours on each character, find your favorites and watch as you spend countless hours trying to master them thanks to the dynamic input that allows a closer edge to your combos and chainset. The matchmaking suffers from archaic and asinine limitations placed by console development and the idiocy that is the offical networking whitepapers of both Sony and Microsoft. There is no way to sort players by skill level so avoiding trolls and pubstomping is somewhat of a chore.

But fear not, the community is generally vibrant, helpful and 9 times out of 10, good people you'll wish to play again.
As for the DLC, depending on your time of purchase, you will get any upcoming release for free within the first three months of the release of the said DLC, after that the stated price is 5 dollars for each DLC item to help fund the extensive work that goes into this game.

Suffers from memory leaks, managed to consume 6 gigabytes of RAM before Windows did it's self preservation routine and terminated the process after it left the entire system 8192 KB of RAM. Freezes when you set textures to very high.

If it works on your PC, it's fun as hell and full of nostalgia. I tried running it on a system with a 270x and a i7-920 overclocked to 3.37 GHz and it crashes constantly whereas I handle ARMA 3 maxed out with at least 30 FPS solid.

Hours of quests, lore and danger. Whats not to love?

I prefer this over minecraft by far and wide, feels much more free and intiuitive than minecraft. The different biomes and plethora of items gives this game infinite possibilities.
