Mass Effect Andromeda is not as bad as the legends have it. But it is weaker than the original Mass Effect trilogy.
Story is mediocre with some great moments but boring filler in between. A few companions are good and their quests are the best content in the game. But most the side quests are mediocre.
Graphics are nice, combat is good and that is the saving grace for this game. Too bad crafting is over complicated for what you get out of it.
Facial animations are often just wrong. Some bugs never got fixed as the game was abandoned, but I encountered nothing game breaking. There is obviously part of the story missing as DLC was planned, but cancelled.
Don't pay full price, maybe at a heavy discount.

Simply amazing. Story and characters are the best you can get in a game. Combat is difficult at first, but will get better when you take time to learn it. Or switch to easy if it doesn't work out.

The game has 5 parts: prologue, 3 chapters and an very small epilogue with a possible split in story line nearing the end of first chapter giving 2 major paths. The prologue and fist 2 chapters are excellent, chapter 3 is only good untill the end which is excellent again.

Graphics are amazing, The art is still top for 2017 standards.

To compare: I have played Dragon age games and love those and you cannot compare them to this game entirely, but they are put to shame by this game in the areas where you can compare.

Sadly an occasional crash to desktop so use the quicksave. Reducing graphics settings to only the second highest can fix that, but I'd rather play it all in full glory.

Played in 2015 and graphics are still OK. Story is good and game mechanics are enjoyable. I'm now a fan of the series. :)
Only negative is a few bugs that might be annoying.
