Early Access Review
Game plays like SWAT4 and the community is amazing. It's a very realistic tactical shooter.

I am terrible at this game, but I still enjoy it.

Trials of Mana is a great remake for Fans of the series. I was really hoping that they had kept or tried to keep the Co-Op Aspect that made the game so great during the SNES days, but I understand why they cut it due to the new perspective they were going for.

If you are a fan of the series, you will appreciate the effort they went through to recreate the nostalgia especially the moment you hear the music.

Gameplay:
They really kept the game the same through and through. You get to pick 3 out of 6 characters to form your party and this will affect your story which allows you to play the game for multiple endings.

Battle system is easy to pick up and learn, as well as it's fluidity in swapping characters to continue combos. When you become really strong in the game, you end up trivializing every battle by just quick swapping and spamming Ultimates/AoE Skills to clear battles quickly.

The boss battles have been reimagined and they use a system like Final Fantasy XIV Boss battles where you can see the bosses attacks/gimmicks.

The only issue I had with the gameplay was the class system as it was a battle against RNG to get your class up item. I had an issue where 2 of my characters were on their last class except one due to RNG. (Which I think it really stupid, but at the last level you can pretty much grind for any class up item.)

BGM:
Wonderful BGM to play the game to. I can listen to this games sound track over and over.
The ability to use the Remake BGM or Retro BGM is one of the features I enjoy the most.

TL;DR:
The game is remarkable in recreating my favorite childhood game. Music is great. Class up system is annoying and has too much RNG. I would recommend this to anyone who enjoys an easy & relaxing game. No Co-Op makes me really depressed.
