Super great game

I love all of the combos and planning out a build. Then I get to see the awesome synergies blow everything up!

Patch 2.2 changed a ton of things, even removing the tile based planets. This was a system I really enjoyed previously, so the update made me not play the game for a long while. However, now that I've gotten used to the changes, I think it is amazing, easily 5 times better than the tile system.

Definitely a fun game, I like the story, setting, and combat quite a bit. However, I have found two main negatives:

1. The game is buggy, so I would definitely recommend an unlimited saving mod.
2. I don't like the lack of variety in character perks, and many of them or more bad than good. By the end of mid game you'll have everything you'll ever want.

One of my favorite games of all time.

TOME is by far one of the best rogue-like games and worth far more than its price, but it's not quite perfect.
I wish it had better balancing with the characters you can play as. For example, anti-magic and characters that won't ever be killed in a few hits, like the Oozemancer, are drastically more effective.
Nonetheless, huge recomendation from me.

The developer of this is an IDIOT for not making this game cost money.
It is a beautiful, well crafted adventure that you will spend way too many hours with.

This game is incredibly fun, and the manual combat is amazing. It does feel a bit random if your AI controlled units do well or not, however, which is definitely annoying. Still, I am enjoying the game very much.
