First and foremost, I want to say that this game will not be for everyone. It is not a game where you will spawn in and capture a point all by yourself while snipping off 8- or 10 guys all on your own. It is not a lone wolf kind of game, it is a game meant to be played together as a team or unit.

I was a backer before Early access and have been playing the game for close to two months now, and I am absolutely loving it. There is nothing like grouping up at spawn, getting into columns and marching off to the battlefield together. The atmosphere of the maps is enveloping, with the sounds of the footsteps to cannon balls whizzing over head and the smoke from the recently shot powder lingering in the air gently passing by with the wind. There really is nothing like it out there in such a form. It is not just the maps and those visual effects that make this atmosphere though, it is also the people around you. You can communicate in game at real time with your teammates, calling out targets, answering calls and orders. All this while having a laugh at some of the events and situations you and your company may get yourself into.

At the end of the day this game is meant to be played with a group of people in a Company/Regiment structure. It will be best experienced by joining up with a new or existing group and meet up for events and just simply play, laugh and chat together. It is an experience you will likely not get it any other game, and for that I truly believe this game is worth every dime you pay.

It is of course Early access, and you will get bugs, lots of them, and load times can be extremely long at times. Other typical aspects of First Person shooters are also not present purposefully. You will not get a K/D counter, or in game XP or loot boxes in this game. What you will get are great memories and moments to recount to your buddies while sitting around a campfire. You are not in this game solely for yourself and bragging rights, you are in this for your buddies, your company and your regiment.
