I'm not happy with this as someone who has played a lot of RE games and appreciates replayability and challenge this has neither and is instead designed to appeal to everyone so its for noone.

Replayability is a huge factor in RE games and its been completely ignored here with no fresh restarts and no hardcore mode. The decision to make no fresh restarts is mind blowing i dont want to make every playthrough easier than the last give me the choice and speedrunner potential is completely dead because of this.

No hardcore mode and replaced by insanity is a complete joke which is just RE3 inferno mode meaning it's designed for content shop bonuses making it easier than casual so you have no challenge which you wouldve got from a hardcore mode.

There's no grading system a staple of RE games once again removing challenge and replayability as theres no S+ runs to achieve which required limited saves, no infinite guns and a quick time.

The game itself for a one time playthrough is decent enough and has a lot to like but it tries to merge way too much from previous RE games into one big unfortunate mess filled with fan service instead of trying to be its own entry into the series but still an enjoyable experience.

I like the game it's a good game but has way too many flaws to be an all time great RE game. It's not as bad as the disaster of RE3R but no way near the greats and a major step down from RE2R and RE4R in terms of a complete modern RE experience.

The greatest Co-op, MP game ive ever played the best Zombies and Multiplayer in the franchise 2015-2017 in its prime on the PS4 what a time to be alive.

Best RPG of all time with some of the best DLCs especially Dead Money and Lonesome Road.

Great Crash game good combination of new and old mechanics, some level design choices are questionable like hidden box locations all over the place, some levels are so long they should've been split into 2 levels instead and timeline levels and inverted levels are very repetitive other than that very good.

Its fun casually playing through the game although its the biggest not for kids game ive ever played when its comes to the 106% completion,my desk has taken a few PS4 controller slams to it from this game. Hardest completion ive ever done so if you want the challenge this game is it.

Extinction has always been criminally underrated.

Favourite childhood game played for countless hours on the PS3 and still enjoy it to the day, hopefully gets the remaster treatment it deserves.

My 11 year old son recently convinced me to allow him to buy this game. I was uncertain after watching the trailer, but I allowed him to buy it anyways. After watching my son play a few games with his friends, I am no longer concerned about the gore or violence of this game. There is minimal gore and the deaths happen so quickly that you barely notice them, and they aren’t especially gruesome. The only thing that concerns me about this game at all is that my son can play with strangers online, but he knows that he is only allowed to play with his friends. If the online features don’t concern you, then this game can be viewed and played by kids of any age. Many toxic survs mainly Feng n Meg t baggin him and clicking flashlights then next match got hook camped then morried. My son smashed the monitor during a play session be cautious he was grounded.
