I was skeptical at first, thinking this was just another cash grab. To be fair, it does push monetization, but it’s surprisingly F2P friendly. The core merge mechanic is solid and addictive. You can unlock almost all the girls and scenes just by playing regularly and participating in events. The biggest con is the energy regen. You'll play for 15-20 minutes and then have to wait a few hours. If you can handle that, it's a great side-game.

Grim Trials took my expectations and scythed them in half. It’s more than just another roguelite; the Academy hub, the crafting, the Blessings, and the sense of purpose with Avelin’s personal quest all combine to make something special.

I love how deaths don’t feel punishing, instead acting as a stepping stone to a stronger next attempt. If they polish up the tutorial and expand on the mentors, this is going to be a hit for anyone who loves that crunchy, skill-based loop.

Just A Shadow Game Demo hooked me far more than I expected. The way it throws you into a twisted realm of ritual deckbuilding is a glorious mix of power fantasy and genuine challenge, where every card you draw feels like pulling another fragment of your own corrupted soul.

Summoning monstrous abominations, defending your sacrifice, and trying to survive wave after wave of heretics is stressful in the best way.

The rooms are varied, their effects creative, and the deck combos started to get really satisfying once I wrapped my head around the synergy between spell and tower cards.

Shadow, the narrator, is a whole mood it feels like he's half mocking you, half cheering you on, and it adds so much flavor. The art is disturbing in a good way, with grotesque, weird illustrations that perfectly match the mood.

If they can expand this formula with more cards and even deeper ritual mechanics, I think this will easily stand out from other deckbuilder roguelikes.

Wasn't sure what to expect, but ended up having a surprisingly fun time. Definitely enjoyed the overall experience.

The demo gives off big Dino Crisis meets Half-Life energy. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the ambient sound really elevates the tension.
The flashlight mechanic was a nice touch limited vision adds a ton to the fear factor. I do think enemy AI could use some tweaking. One of the creatures got stuck on terrain and just screamed at a wall. Still, for a demo? That’s a minor complaint. I’m hyped.

I wish the demo had more environmental variety beyond ruined corridors; they’re packed with detail, but after two areas it starts to look same-y and I find myself wishing for forest shrines or arboreal ruins.

Demo’s pacing is excellent — gets you into action quickly while giving time to explore mechanics.

Early Access Review
"Maiden and Lord" is a fun strategy game that emphasizes cooperation and civilization development. Innovative mechanics such as "Private Territory" and "Safe Assembly" create a harmonious world. The game is interesting for its unique mix of strategy, hero development and simulation. Recommended!
