Game is dead since February 2026 after suddenly shutting everything down.

Game was a scam from the start, and I've had that feeling since a year after backing the game since it made no progress what so ever.
Worst kickstarter ever.

Fun game. Good visuals.
Might get boring after a while. We'll see.

So, most people that had made negative reviews was expecting a Snowrunner 2.
Didn't they look before they bought the game? Didn't they play the demo was was provided to everyone for free?
Either way, I didn't expect a sequel to Snowrunner because that isn't what was advertised, and the gameplay wouldn't change that much from the demo.

So far, I'm having a blast in this game, I'm 100% done on the first three maps and on Intercommunicado I've messed around quite alot with making roads.

Pros:
- Awsome graphics, it's stunning in the higher ends and a lot of small details that's easy to miss.
- Good sound, you can even hear the raindrops hitting your roof.
- Maps are good sized, not too small and not too big.
- Physics feel better than snowrunner. Cars can drive straight on tarmac, and when you've loaded up heavy you actually feel like it's heavy.
- Many options on how to get to objective.
- Persistent changes to the world with some limitations. Objects, sand and stuff will stay in place no matter where you go or change map. Terrain deformation from tires etc do reset, but as far as I've been told they are working on this?

Cons:
- Sometimes too easy offroading. But sometimes you can get stuck for hours if you don't give up using the recall button. Like I constantly tipped with my semi after loading it too heavy, and when I went off the road it tipped all the time forcing me to use my scout to help push it forward and the wheel loader to keep it steady sideways.
- AI is ♥♥♥♥.
- No customization on the vehicles. What you buy is what you get. No changing in tires, engines and equipment.
- Unlocking bridges, doesn't unlock it for all maps. Progression starts over again at each map except vehicle purchases.
- Except for missions, you can complete a map (so far) without the need to gather materials or build roads with some exceptions since the AI is getting stuck or falling over all the time.

This game used to be awsome. Back before it was on steam and even shortly after that, until they introduced the open world.
After that, it has even became worse and worse.
Stay away from this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that has now become Free to play with massive prices on the ships "dlcs"

45 minutes of fun puzzling.

Abandoned by the devs. Been waiting a long time before making the purchase again.
Stay away.

I love this game.

I got 6 prisoners that i chopped off their legs, so they can't escape while I drain their blood on a daily bases to feed my vampires.
I also enslaved 3 kids coming to ask for help, they neede medicine for their dog.
I ended up killing 2 of the kids, and the third one I recruited.
I skinned his friends and used their skin to make a shirt and pants, and forced the third one to wear them.
He enjoyed it.
Now he is a cannibal and a vampire, running around shooting stuff with a shotgun.

Destroying the game, step by step.
Will remove this review and make a positive one once the EAC update gets revoked or remade so they allow basic QoL mods.
Now the crashing avatars will have so much more power when people can't use anti crashers.

Within the first hour of gameplay I knew this game wasn't for me.
It has ALOT of potential but in it's current state it's a no-no for me.
Why? I'll make a list of stuffs I didn't like below.

- I find the lack of individual fingertracking somewhat gamebreaking.
- I don't like the inventory management.
- I don't like that you can see the "orbs" that indicates what you have equipped on other players, I wanna see their swords or "guns" on their back or the side on an actual belt, not floating in the air following the movement of the head.
- Quest tracker was in the way quite often when you had 4+ quests active at the same time.

Sure, it's early access and everything. Hopefully they'll update the game in the future to allow FBT and individual fingertracking.
Also I want an option to increase the graphics by ALOT, right now it feels like the game was made only for the oculus quests or a low tier computers barely able to run VR titles.
