I am seriously addicted to this game. Somehow the added tension added by the story and politics of the world add an extra hook that I feel Stardew Valley lacked. Yes yes it's all fine and good to stick it to big corpo but.. What if you don't bring in a good harvest and the military takes all your food and your favorite person you're trying to get close to starves to death? You're not just farming for the hell of it. You gotta save these people! I know it's early access but I have very little to actually criticize about the game thus far. I will leave some pointers for the devs if they see this.

Bellow may contain some spoilers if you have not played the game yet.

1) More species should be omnivores. I can't remember if this as the case or not but species like wolves are actually omnivorous in the wild. They supplement their diet with berries and legumes. Of course the current balance of the towns population is good. This may only really need to be a change for the player character and something to watch out for in the future.

2) Fishing is actually too easy. You can time reeling in with the fish nibbling the bait. Making catching fish trivial. It's not a problem but I do suggest some other factor to fishing to make it more engaging if that is ever a concern in the future.

3) Deer religion? Maybe I am just missing it but Deer Dad said he had sermons every Saturday and I have yet to see it. This does actually allow for some interesting side paths to do things on your farm involving faith? A nature based faith and foraging/farming seem like they would go hand in hand. And maybe that's in the works and I don't know it! I'd love to see.

4) Unlocking likes/dislikes from dialog. Everyone in the village has told me about Oliver's rock collection. And how Logan hates to see the alpheep get slaughtered. I think rewarding the player by being told by enough people about their likes and dislikes should show up in the character's profile. Unless that can already happen and it just has not triggered for me yet.

5) I know this is mentioned on the title screen but yes I sometimes get some finicky controls. Especially in the mine. I know this is a wip but I just wanted to say that was noticeable.

Never worked for steam, no matter how hard I tried, or how many work arounds I attempted. So in my eyes it's not even a game, 0/10

Even at early access, a game that is dependant on multiplayer should not have this many connectivity/lobby issues! I am getting really tired of stuff like this. Way to make a game progressively less fun with it's updates.

Also why is this listed as an MMO, in my experience an MMO had a free roaming world that was unconstrained by 10 v 10 matchmaking. This game is miss-labled.

Edit 5/14/2015: The current update makes the game a lot more enjoyable. There are alot of new vehicle types and a few new weapon types that make the game very promising.

An SMGBrick is still op, but I've seen some things with crawler legs and areofoil that made my heart flutter.
