I was a big fan of the first game so I bought it in launch to support the devs.

The game and the community far surpassed my expectations. This game is easily top five favorite co-op games ever.

What a fantastic game (and value)!
I'm a long-time gamer who is now in his 30's and often has trouble keeping interested in new games, but I never had that issue with this.
As you've figured out, this is pretty much a sci-fi version of hot-line miami that allows you to pause and has a slew of cool gadgets.
Because the levels are randomly generated and the combination of available weapons/gadgets are usually different this game never gets boring. A few of my friends also got the game and we will reminisce over the adventure of our different characters. One cool feature is that retired or captured characters from your game can show up in your friends game, which is a great little feature.
In my opinion this game is the best value for the price out of any game I've seen on steam. I really can't recommend it enough.
