Great game, but I'm not keen on Sony forcing PSN on us when the game quite obviously works fine without it. I'd take your money elsewhere.


Update: Sony has either relented, or is anchoring. Be vigilant.

This game has a sick sense of humor when it comes to critical rolls. Played two games, and NONE of my catching rolls were good enough to succeed. And that was when my thrower was actually able to pick up the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ball in the first place!

Well, the game looks glorious. I like the way fleets work, and how there are so many versions of FTL. Two things kill it for me though, and are the reasons why I have not played past the tutorial. For one, there's the highly-praised diplomacy. It's, just... why? Wardecs and nonaggression pacts would have been wonderful. But... cards? Ew. If you want to take a system, you should get yourself some ships and go wreck face. Also a "galactic senate" implies one unified empire, which is simply not the case.

However I can forgive the game its sins, because everything else is very tasty.

Welp, trailer looked cool. However, the game won't launch and it seems to require some "uPlay" ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that I didn't sign up for. Sorry Ubisoft, you've lost a customer.
