This game is amazing and I will gladly play it now that Playstation has reversed their decision.

Major order complete!

This is my first game review after 9 years of playing on Steam. This game is absolutely amazing. I've developed a list of pros and cons for the game.

Pros:
-Death penalty (also a con) prevents people from stockpiling the best guns and slaughtering newer players
-Tactical playing is rewarded and the typical "run and gun" of FPS games is punished
-Realistic sounds. Every sound attracts attention including in-game voice (make/get a friend and discord)
-Every game is a different experience (are you the hunter or being hunted?)
-Patch 1.5 splits the matchmaking in two tiers so that newer players have a chance to play and get familiarized with the game
-Devs are updating the game regularly
-Currently 20% off (I purchased 5 days too soon :( )


Cons:
-High learning curve (easier once you learn the basics)
-I keep getting a disconnect on the backend server error (will be fixed)
-Camping is pretty much encouraged
-Prestiging does nothing (atm) and keeps you in the second tier of matchmaking making it significantly harder to level up again
-Not enough bounty options (will likely change in the not so distant future)
-Had multiple duo games where two groups teams up as a 4-man squad to kill every other hunter and split the bounties on the double bounty maps

The game is in early access and can only improve. The cons I listed will eventually be addressed as the dev team works to polish this game into a masterpiece. All of the elements combine into a truly frightening, yet somehow fun, experience that keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire match. The feeling of relief upon seeing seeing the "You live to dis another day" message is short lived as you dive back in and tempt the mistress of fate once more. Buy the game, see if you have what it takes to survive, and I'll see you on the other side!
