So..... this game came out a few days ago and i already have almost 30 hours in it, That's saying quite a bit. I understand people are having trouble running the game but i'm doing perfectly fine. im playing at 1440p high preset with motion blur off and effects setting at medium. this lands me 60 fps a majority of the time but once in a while i get a momentary drop to about 45 fps. im running on a RTX 2060 and a Ryzen 7 2700x as well as 32 gigs of ram. This game doesn't eat alot of my gpu or cpu bit it chews up about 10 gigs of ram. if you are able to play the game, i highly recommend it. with my near 30 hours, i currently believe that im about a fifth of the way through the game having defeated the first (big) boss and im having a blast with every moment in the game. May it be the combat, story, lore, or the beautiful world around me, i cant take a moment to divert my attention. if you can, play the game. you wont regret it.

why are you reading these. go buy it. it may be short but man is it one hell of a ride.

now that this game has reached its end point. i have quite a bit to say. i first got this game in 2012 on my mothers old acer desktop where i spent countless, and when i say countless, i mean countless hours playing the game. i remember when the Plantera and Golem bosses where added to the game and me and my friends being the stupid kids that we where. didnt know what patch notes where. these new bosses became something of an urban legend among our group and thus our many hours if playing began. eventually, we all baught the mobile version and played together for hours, discovering the wonders that our little terraria worlds had to offer. then, in 2017, we got the idea of building computers, once we reached the point where we all had them we eventually decided to play terraria which at this point we had stoped playing all together for a while. we went it and the game had expanded on its already brilliant content with new bosses to get destroyed by and new weapons to discover. i got another 700 hours of fun with my friends in this wonderful game until the final update came out. but along side it came the mod loader. with the games large modding community, my friends and i discovered mods like callamity, giving us yet hundreds of more hours of fun. when i heard of the award nominations and heard about the labour of love award i instantly thought of this game. its been loved by its developers and community and i think it will stay that way for years to come. this is a great game to go in blind to and learn along with your friends. with probably over 3000 hours across all platforms and accounts, i can say that this is my favorite game of all time. and in my opinion the very best, most enjoyable game of the past ten years. do yourself a favor and buy it, you wont regret it, i promise.

Im just coming back from a break and im so glad ive started playing again. im nowhere neer finished with this game even with 350 hours.
