I want to love this game as much as I love EU4 but there is soooooooo much annoying BS that fights you from having fun all the time. You can see from My hours I gave it every opportunity but every time I go back to play it I am confronted with dumb design choices that annoy the SH*T out of me.
Its good to see a lot of things getting addressed in the patchnotes but theyre focussing on really minor stuff IMO and big stuff like cannon siege bonus and winter attrition at peace in home territory seem not to be on their radar which boggles the mind.
Wait another 2 years maybe

Its back to good, not great but "good with friends" kind of good.

A great depiction of WW1 except the AI cheats out the ass and is literally unwinnable. You need to spend supply to build defenses and deploy units and whereas I can deploy about 20 units the enemy sends wave after wave after wave after wave after wave etc. Its 1914 and I have 60 units (40 in reserve) which I cant deploy due to the lack of supply but the french just keep coming. Sure my K/D is 20 but Im still losing because my reserves are just faffing about.

Second, performance is abysmal. Sure it looks as good as it needs to but its not a bloody tech demo so it's got no excuse to run at 35 fps. Sure I'm running an 5 year old GTX 1080 and a 4.2GHz I7 but I get more fps out of maxed out Star Citizen.

Ofc Denuvo is part of the problem. Ima sit on it since they're saying they're going to address the AI problems in a patch but considering the devs already promised the AI plays by the rules they might just be full of sh*t which would be a shame but time will tell.

P.S. the wallpaper "collection" is a joke.
Its 5 images, 1 being the logo, 1 being Gavrilo Princip shooting Franz Ferdinand but only his torso and hand, with only 1 good image of German soldiers leaving a trench. The other 2 are boring at best.

Support the CC walkout, Wargaming are scum.
