Fantastic port. Graphics, lighting, sound - all superb. I played Dead Space when it originally came out, and at the time it was one of the scariest games I had played. It changed the game (literally) for horror, and this game so far faithfully not only recreates that feeling when I first played it all those years ago, but adds onto it in the best ways. I am absolutely hoping sales are good enough to warrant a remake of 2, which improves upon every element (in my opinion) of the first game. I don't have a lot of game play hours under my belt yet, and am waiting for the sun to go down to really get into the gory mess of it all, but I am absolutely impressed from the small time I've put into it.

I am experiencing a couple bugs which I'm sure will be ironed out such as tutorial HUD elements not disappearing. I'm sure that will be an easy fix in the future.

If you've never played this game before, I envy you deeply.
