Really fun moment to moment tension within the gameplay, but had a few lackluster segments near the end that felt rushed albeit with some interesting ideas. Not too long, but i can see it taking longer or maybe even shorter depending on your playstyle which i appreciate. If you don't mind the simple story and just want a well done horror game of cat and mouse, this is up your alley.

The whole game is just a collection of immaculate vibes, the skating feels really good albeit a bit unruly to control at times as it felt intended by the developer, the amazing music by Blood Cultures has been on loop for me the past couple weeks, the visuals are a feast for the eyes, and the story was a nice metaphor to wrap it all together. Zooming down its asphalt streets with the OST in the background is a hard feeling to replicate. One of the best experiences of the year.

I hate Destiny 2, but the story for Edge of Fate is pretty good...

If the story and gameplay keeps me as engaged as I already am til the end of the journey, then this is for sure a Game of the Year contender

Edit: After beating the game, yeah 10/10, the characters, the voice acting (all alters by one man), and the story all come together great! Going to do another playthrough with some of the Alters i haven't met, along with trying out some of the different endings. The base building and "Fallout Shelter-like" management of resources felt tense with the constant but fair ticking clock while exploring the surface of the hostile planet, always feeling like im on the move. I love everything this game does and wouldn't want it any other way with all its weirdness and genuinely endearing narrative.

Immaculate clay vibes in a dreary but whimsical world. A simple yet well made horror game where the story telling truly shines in this journey through the dark. Pot Boy is the best boy, I need a figure of this little guy. Beautiful music to go along with its beautiful visuals carry the experience so much in the best way.

The story, the visuals, the gameplay, the characters, i can just go on about everything that makes this one of the best narrative journeys I've experienced. A very french and beautifully personal game that was able to accomplish so much with the small team they've created in a way most AAA game studios fail to even come close. Game of the Year for sure
