One of the best games that I have ever played.

• Great story behind the game
• Free huge maps for a lot of exploration
• Amazing community mods from Steam Workshop
• Decent building system with 5 tiers from Thatch to Tek
• Dinosaurs & Mythical Creatures
• Taming & Breeding
• Consistent updates by the game developers
• Underwater Bases, Caves and Dinosaurs
• Tribe System with Ranks and Alliances
• Decent Crafting System
• Unoffical servers & Singleplayer where you can tweak the rates for a faster gameplay and amazing mods!

• Requires a lot of your time, unless you play on unoffical servers, because if you don't invest a lot of time you'll get raided
• Duping & Cheating & Undermeshing
• Lag & Rubberbanding on Official Servers

At last, don't let these negative reviews draw you away from this great experience, if you buy this game and you don't have a lot of time on your hands then don't join official servers, go to singleplayer or unofficial servers instead and find a server with settings & mods that suit your gameplay.
