Absolutely fantastic. Their best work so far, and filled with genuine, shocking and wonderful surprises at every corner so far.

I have had next to no performance issues, although I do have a very good PC:
RTX 3080
Ryzen 5800X
32gb 3600mhz RAM
1tb Samsung 980 NVME
Windows 11

It has been a perfectly smooth and bug-free experience so far, but it seems your mileage may vary.

This is definitely shaping up to be GOTY, possibly GOTD.

I've played this for 198 hours over the years and I still crack up laughing every single time I play. Absolutely wonderful.

Absolutely recommended.
The story, while only one part of a larger saga is engaging and has a satisfying build to its climax while also providing several fascinating plot points for future games and story DLC to expand on.

Some people have had complaings about the games length and the playtime they have managed, however, my first run took me about 50 hours - Explore, read, generally let yourself experience the world and there are plenty of hours of content in this game.

Unfortunately at this point there are still annoying bugs to be found- occasional crashes and some minor glitches. Personally I experienced a CTD around ever 3-5 hours, which is far too much to simply ignore.

Bugs/crashes and the nature of the story arc aside, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is a worthy follow up to the fantastic Human Revolution and in fact surpasses it several ways.

Note:
Until I finished writing the above comments, I didnt even remember the game had microtransactions, which I think speaks to their intrusiveness. It is annoying that Eidos was made to add a real money store, however it is clear that the game was in no way designed with them in mind and they are comfortably able to be completely ignored and if you are anything like me, you will barely even register their existence.

Also of note, and related to the microtransaction store: Breach mode. To put it simply, don't bother, its a fairly bland, uninspired gamemode that adds nothing to the game. Stick to the real Deus Ex, the story mode.
