Maybe it's just nostalgia for me, but personally I keep coming back to role-play a drunken lout in 80's England.

People saying there is no more than 4 hours of content either don't like that whole setting, or don't actually like the free form building where, yes, there's a small chance something will glitch a bit and smash some portion of what you were busy building, which can indeed be frustrating.

However, I don't know of any other game where you can let off steam in-game by going for an 8 pint pub lunch, get kicked out for vomiting on the barmaid, then go back to the worksite and use your boozy piss to make the mortar to repair your dream home (or whatever decrepit rental coffin you have decided to construct).

Short Asteroids style game with some idle and progression tree mechanics. Absolutely worth the tiny price.

I've been interested in this game since release and have been holding out to get it on sale. It's currently 20% off and worth every penny. I've played 25 hours in the last 4 days, just unlocked Helldiver difficulty (Level 9/10) and don't see myself stopping anytime soon.

I have been playing with randoms and haven't seen any problems so far. However, I would suggest hosting your own games as you run through the difficulties from the start (just choosing a mission and jumping in, but leaving your party open for joiners - or even popping an SOS beacon), just so you get to choose where/who you fight and what type of missions you want to do. That way you'll get to grips with everything at your own pace, no risk of getting kicked from a game and also get some cooperative action, which you will need for the harder difficulties.

On the subject of warbonds (kind of battlepasses), I'm not even halfway through the free one. Only need 50 SC to afford a paid one, so don't see myself needing to spend real money at any point, as you will earn the currency just by playing. And boy do I enjoy playing!

Early Access Review
Nominated for Sit Back and Relax award 2024 (and now 2025 too somehow). This is billed as a multiplayer battler, but it's really just a cosy inventory organisation simulator. Don't be afraid of ranked games, it's just shoving things in a backpack and letting them do their thing!

BUYER BEWARE: There is a game-breaking bug 5-10 hours into the game, where your savegame will simply wipe itself of most data. Purchased items, money, skill tree choices, and progress on various actions will simply revert to a new game state. The autosave happens every time you sleep (no manual saves), there is only one save slot (simply New Game, or Load on the Main Menu) and it is done through the registry (so if you do buy, I suggest you read the guides on how to back up your save before starting and you need to be comfortable with RegEdit).

I have requested a refund, but time will tell if that will be allowed as I had played for nearly 6 hours when my save self destructed.

As it is, the game is (as expected) super janky, with some really annoying mechanics, but gameplay is still fun and addictive underneath. If my progress had not been wiped, I would probably have been happy with the sale purchase.

Great until the trypophobia inducing part. There is a warning at the start that you should absolutely not ignore if this is a problem for you. I ignored it, it was my own fault.

Feel free to play through the parasite song, but don't go further than that.

A lovely little puzzle game that only takes about an hour to complete. Relaxing yet challenging. And for free!

I would certainly pay to see 200 Small Mazes.

Bought it 10 hours ago. Already played 10 hours. Time to dream of jokers.

Now I can toot "God Save The King" on trombone until they find Kate.

EDIT: They found Kate and I perfected the song. Coincidence!?

It's a shame to have to give this a negative review, as I had a lot of fun with it after enjoying the demo and then buying on release. A pretty fun representation of home brewing, albeit on the arcadey side to speed through some of the more tedious real-world mechanics.

BUYER BEWARE: there are some absolutely game breaking bugs (pumps are broken, recipes are broken, other fiddly issues with pressure and contamination that will ruin your batch of beer) that are now never going to get fixed, never mind the need for a good handful of quality of life improvements. The game has not been patched since two weeks after it's initial release and the devs have abandoned it due to financial issues ( see discussion here ). I think the main sore point is that there were devs active on Steam discussions and discord for 11 months acknowledging bug reports and promising a fix, to then suddenly announce dropping all support with no patch ever made. It is that dishonesty coupled with the vehement opposition to any sort of modding (that could be a route for the community to fix these issues), which is what is making fans like me super disappointed.

There are some defenders saying that this is not an early access title and "it's a full release that shouldn't need patches". Let me ask you, when was the last time you played a game containing game breaking bugs that was not patched post-release? Do you still play it? Did it allow modding?
