Very addicting game when you get the hang of it.
Im not that interested in FPS Battleroyale games like COD WZ and Apex Legends.
As a (MMO)RPG PVP player i do like Naraka Bladepoint allot however. It is scratching a similar itch!

Its not an easy to pick up game if you dont have experience playing melee based PVP games. Learning from other players in the game or watching extra youtube guides is highly recommended to know about (movement) mechanics the game is relatively poor at explaining.

The problems the West (NA, EU etc.) is facing with this game are a mild concern:
- Player population is pretty low for a battle royale, queue times are relatively long compared to popular online games. Marketing is low, while the game is pretty popular in China.
- They currently use bots to fill up quickmatch and even ranked games, due to the lower playerbase and not wanting to have super long queues. The amount of real players increases in ranked when you hit gold/platinum+ rank.
- The ranked matchmaking is sometimes unfair. There is a big skill gap between players but because the pop is low it is possible that you (as a noob - average player) and the best players in the game are getting matched together.
- The servers: mid netcode and other players having high(er) latency... ultimately the game is playable but sometimes parry windows are not functioning like you expect.
- your imputs might not always come through due to the earlier mentioned server state or your pc not being that high end. For some reason higher FPS (and Hz) makes your imputs a tiny amount more responsive. A hard requirement also is installing the game on a SSD. Dont even try to play this on a HDD.

I do think it is a shame that this game is overlooked by many or not given a fair shake due to having some yanky mechanics that arent that easy to pick up as a new player. It is very rewarding when you get better at it.
I do hope that Netease and the developers will give the West a little bit more love too though, as it goes both ways.
