All I've done is play the demo, and I love it.

Its a nice point, and click management game, something I have been on the look out for years for!!

The tutorial isn't the best, and some of the menus can be a bit confusing, but as this is just a demo I'm not too worried about it.

I got this on sale for $15, and I truly do not feel that I got my money's worth out of it. The game lasts 4 hours, with no replayablity- that $3.75/hr for gameplay.

I feel the game is over hyped, the art is okay, the gimic is okay, the play loop is okay, the story is okay.

Ultimately is is extremely boring, and you can sped $15 on something better. The claws that "cozy gamers" have in this makes absolutely no sense to me.

Save your money, go to a matinee of a local community theatre instead- at least then you'll have supported your community, and have a fun story to talk about afterwards.

Truthfully I dont know if ive ever been this disappointed in a game, and I exclusively played wii shovel wear in 2008. Like i'm just kinda mad at this point

Also I didnt struggle to fit all of the things in the boyfriend level other than the major plot point of having to put the degrees under the bed- to show the guy is an ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ (defiantly room on the wall if you could rearrange pictures) . It feels like the same amount of space is given in the house with the roommates. So I really dont get the issues that people are having with that level

I love this game when it works. But it is very buggy and too inconsistent with corrupt save files, and overall the game has a very unprofessional aura with public management.

★ I don’t feel confident that these problems will be addressed in a timely manner. As the developer is already working on a new kickstarter game, and allegedly trying to port this game to the Switch.

Their sole form of bug reporting and communication to the dev is via a discord that is rarely updated; however if the game is rarely being worked on then I guess there isn’t much to share about bug progress. It feels more like a community/fan made discord rather than one run by the dev (perhaps because the dev is using their personal discord account to moderate). The automated bug reporting can be a bit clunky at times.

★ To add to the poor communication the dev partnered with a publisher that requires its own launcher. They only shared this via said discord. When brought up with confusion on the steam forums it was greeted with very unprofessional and rude response by a moderator:

★ Frankly I am unimpressed and mildly concerned by the general lack of professionalism and communication there seems to be (again what little that is provided it is through a discord rather than the communications on the actual Steam page). And I am suspicious of this new kickstarter endeavor if they seem satisfied enough with this product that they spent years working on to start a brand new one, especially with how small they keep saying the dev team is.

It saddens me that this game is in the state that it is, every part of my being wants to love this game.

Its everything anyone could ever want out of a game 15/10
you lose yourself in the game
its hypnotic and therapeutic
(the fish are kinda jerks sometimes TBH)

spooky and puzzles 10/10
