Leon S. Kennedy doesn't crash a car in this one and all it took was a bizarre and somewhat out of place collaboration with a luxury car brand.

This right here. THIS is the good stuff.

As an absolutely massive Indiana Jones fan, I can say with the utmost confidence that this is a game made for fans, by fans.

MachineGames nails the aesthetic and sense of grandiose adventure that we’ve come to expect from all things Indy.

The team behind this game has expertly crafted a brand new, worthy, and heartfelt entry to this beloved franchise.

They lovingly pay homage to 40+ years of Indy history and remind fans of everything that made them fall in love with the hat-wearing, fascist-punching archaeologist in the first place.

Gordy Haab‘s fantastical score invokes a lot of the same feelings of mystery and triumphant adventure as John Williams’ very own iconic orchestral arrangements from Indy entries past and relatively present.

All that to say that this game is an unapologetic celebration of EVERYTHING Indiana Jones, that had me feeling like a little kid seeing 'Raiders of the Lost Ark' for the first time by the time the credits rolled.

My hope is that this game introduces a new generation of fans to this iconic character that I, and millions of others hold so near and dear.

For a while it may have seemed like Nathan Drake and Lara Croft had good ol’ Doctor Jones bested in the arena of gaming. To such a degree that our beloved archaeologist could never catch up.

However, Indiana Jones and the Great Circle places Indy back in the spotlight where he rightfully belongs. Showing fans both new and old that Doctor Jones still has plenty of adventure left in the tank.

Thank you, MachineGames.

Thank you, Bethesda.

10/10.

“Fortune and glory, kid. Fortune and glory.”

On my first playthrough I lost all of my health items fighting a large, rotund man in a freezer which resulted in James aggressively washing his car in the lake. 👍

"I'll buy this game as something to play late at night, to relax and calm down."

Turns out this game is actually evil. Really cool, but also kind of evil. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The date is May 9th, 2024. I awake to a knocking at the door. It's the mailman, he is eager to deliver to me my free loaf of Wonder Bread for wishlisting the video game 'Animal Well' on Steam.

"There are so many preservatives in this loaf of Wonder Bread. It will last you until the year 2080." He informs me. I thank him and watch as he departs in his truck. Shortly afterwards I open the bag of Wonder Bread as well as my newly installed copy of 'Animal Well'. I am eager to play the game while enjoying my wishlister's bonus.

I open the game and am greeted with breathtaking ambient music and fantastical pixelated graphics. I am dropped into the titular "animal well" and am prompted to "wake up".

As I begin to move throughout this new world I start to complete puzzles that poke and prod at my mind in amusing and innovative ways. These puzzles strike an amazing balance between fun but challenging.

I meet new and interesting creatures, like a friendly chinchilla and a not-so-friendly ostrich and kangaroo. The more and more I play this game, I realize that it is the perfect blend of both Halo 2 and 3.

I highly recommend 'Animal Well' and can not wait to explore what else this new world has to offer.
