This is definitely best game of the year and probably even this century, the work put into the game is phenomenal, it took me 120 hours to beat it and I thought I saw most of the stuff excluding more evil path, but then I would see some random video and realize that I completely missed that.
Larian studios is the studio of the studio with now and they have perfected their formula since Divinity Original Sin and adapted it to D&D rules without making it too tedious.
The soundtrack is also fire, especially one special optional boss fight in last act.

Just seeing this legendary game series showing some signs of life is making me happy, but there are some good and bad in both games as it is just a remaster and not a remake, so a the game design is very old.

Soul Reaver 1:
The game itself didn't age very well, the story is interesting but you will spend a lot of time moving and rotating boxes for the puzzles in this game. Every boss fight is a gimmick fight and sometimes it's not very clear what you need to do, so some might struggle on some bosses.
The remaster in this game is done very well, as you can quickly switch between old and new graphics you can clearly see the difference in everything.
If you want to 100% the game, read about the achievements before as there a lot of miss-able ones.

Soul Reaver 2:
Here the remastered was more lazy as only the character models had a lot of work done, but a lot of the textures have barely any noticeable changes.
The game itself is a lot better aged than the first one and is by far the better one of the two, but there are still some things that didn't age well, for example the save system, as you can only save the game at specific locations.
The story, the dialogue, the setting it was all perfect and still is, the game was ahead of it's time in that regards so you can just play for a good and intriguing story.

My biggest hope is that thanks to good sales and reviews of this remastered we might get a new game in the series that fans were waiting for a long time.
