Plays impossibly hard. Can do the exact same thing two swings in a row for dramatically different results. HATE IT

It's a survival game with all the trappings. THEN you add the pals and you've got a game that's up there with any Digimon or Pokemon game in fun.

Massive disappointment for me. The difficulty even on the easiest setting you can except AC 27-28 characters to drop like flies to overpowered enemies. The balance is non-existent. The campaign mode is more tedious than anything, and the story effectively ends before it even begins. The stories for characters at the beginning are interesting, some of the side quests, then, you leave the city and the game goes to a series of tiny, either overly easy or overly difficult turn-based battles on a small grid and an occasional (rare) quest that requires you to leave your tent where you conduct the army. I feel like the writers knew what they were doing, but the game designers missed something entirely in the experience. Here's hoping that future Pathfinder games use the 2.0 system and play better than this.

Really nice variety in play. Updates made it really reasonable to hunt down your missing items in the game and unlock a ton of the content. I'm on 2 Boss Cells and making headway on 3 now and I'm bad at these games, but it definitely climbs in difficulty at each new tier. If you think it's too easy, it will catch up eventually, don't worry. If you enjoy metroidvania with randomized maps and items, you might like this.

Reminded me of Wizard of Legend at first, but the more I played, the more I saw the depth. Only thing I don't care for is the sheer amount of meta currency you need to collect right now for cosmetic upgrades, but that's not much of a gripe. Please, check it out, and more content is coming.
