This feels reminiscent to flash games back in the day. The story could be interesting, but the text at the beginning of each level are too slow and say very little in too many words. The gameplay is actually alright. Though I wish the tutorial wasn't hidden behind a "Training" section on the main menu, and instead presented at the start of the game. If you get it for free, absolutely, give it a try. Or even at a heavily discounted rate, not sure it's worth full price.

Great game! Peak physics, missions are amazing and really prompt you to be creative when trying to get all of the optional objectives. The achievements are well thought out and engaging. There is a story to follow if you want, but the game is brilliant regardless.

Fun game, interesting art/levels, great for a free game. UX could be better, not being able to zoom all the way out for better navigation of larger levels makes it a bit tedious.

Cool interesting story in a bug-riddled virtual environment. They released a buggy mess in 2023, and it feels that it hasn't improved. They got very ambitious with the size of the open spaces and I guess didn't care about the resource intensity.

The combat and lore are sick though!

Outstanding game, great story. Super enjoyable to play with a world you can enjoy interacting with. Is it still a bug-riddled Ubisoft game? Absolutely, this one is a horrible offender of that. But looking past that, the mechanics are great and feel really good, the weapons, the vehicles, it all comes together really well. And the story? *chefs kiss*.

As much as I recommend this game, don't forget it's made by Ubisoft.

I appreciate what this game was trying to be. Unfortunately, I just think it misses the mark. The RNG fishing is frustratingly tedious, some guidance from people on the island would've been a nice way to interact with the world and gain some knowledge about its ecosystem. The actual act of fishing was alright, especially the river fishing.

The controls are a bit painful, especially where you can't actually tilt up while you're walking, forced to follow the horizon that the game wants you to, instead of giving you the freedom to look around. Makes you feel that you're really stuck, and not that free to explore.

The graphics are cool, I enjoyed the designs of the everything I caught.

For achievement hunting, this is a great contender. Easy achievements, mostly unoffensive gameplay. For the price point, the game is okay! It maybe struggles with the speed of the cars and the sizes of some of the tracks. Having a boost bar is great, but it cannot fix situations where there are massive straights and being stuck going at the same constant max speed. If this game was more about placement and braking, it would probably be more fun. I could imagine a group of 4 having a good evening with it. But for singleplayer with the bots, it doesn't give a lot.

For people who yearn for the mines such as I, this is great. The learning curve is a bit steep, and the tutorial doesn't do much in the way of preparing you for the harsh realities of gameplay. But controlling the ship is fun, managing your speed and your cargo, making sure not to overdo it is a very pleasant experience (even if challenging at times).

Stunning visuals, fun and sometimes challenging puzzles, with a map that allows you to move around and explore as you wish. There's no pressure to complete all 10,000 puzzles, leaving you with a nice and peaceful experience at your own pace.
