Out of all my wolves in Crimson Nightmare, the most iconic one would have to be Cole, later known as Cziel. At one point, I killed Cole and brought him back a year later, as the new and improved Cziel. So what happened during that time? You're about to find out

Cole groaned and got to his paws, shaking his head from dizziness. He looked around, eyes squinting, but everything around him was black as pitch. "Hello...?" he called out, but his voice just echoed. "Tiger eye...? Silent Shadow? Lucas?!" He was getting more and more panicked as he looked around in the blackness. A few minutes (or was it hours?) after he called out, a pair of solid red eyes glared at him, soon joined by others, surrounding him in the darkness.

Cziel...

Cole jerked his head at the name, reacting to it like it was his own, even though he's never heard that word spoken before in his life. "What do you want from me?! And what have you done with my mate and my pups?!" He yelled out in anger. But the whispers just got louder, chanting this new name. "My mate... And my puppies. Where are they?" he demanded again, but his mind was growing foggy. He watched as his memories swirled around him, of his two black furred pups, him watching them proudly by his mate's side. He tried to remember their names, they seemed so familiar, but he could not. The image broke into thousands of little pieces, being replaced by another one, one of him fighting a female many times over. "Blood Leopard..." he said in a low growl. The whispers seemed pleased, and they returned just these images to him. Then they made him look up, and he watched a male pup walk through the forest, alone and scared.

He knew what he had to do. He took a running start and ran upwards, barreling straight into the pup. A few feet away and he leapt at the tiny creature, legs and paws outstretched. One tiny, high-pitched scream was the last that was heard of the pup, before Cziel was rebirthed once again.
