DEMOCRACY WINS AGAIN

In many ways its a fantastic experience and i've certainty had and have been having my fair share of great experiences in it. There are some areas where the game begins to show a need for optimizations like in the first major city, and certain cliff side areas, and the AI pawns decide to incorporate themselves into the ground by jumping off a cliff but aside from that its really fantastic

Yeah theres micro transaction, but literally all of those items and be gotten ingame, very early. Didn't like how your character ended up visual wise? Literally just play for like, 40 mins and once you make it to the first main town go to the barber and change it lmao

You get wakestones so fast in this game compared to DD1 that I don't even know why its a micro transaction- i've already gotten 2 full ones in the few hrs i've played thus far. For real though, ignore that micro transactions exist because they will never affect you.

You ever play a game and can feel the "Oh yeah, the developer put some love into this" kind of vibe? That's lunacid right there. With fantastic kingsfield based gameplay and more secrets then you'll ever find you'll get a reward around every corner while the game slaps you down and humbles you for feeling too strong.

The game does not insult your intelligence and WANTS you to experiment.

I can only wish they will make more DLC or updates or ANYTHING cause I hungerrrr

A fantastic game that checks off so many boxes. I've had so many moments where I went "wait I missed this entire area?!" and finding more and more content to do. My only gripe would be more enemy variety ideally from mid-end game and making some of the bosses far harder.

That said, a high recommendation! You won't be disappointed.

I genuinely cannot give this game enough praise on gameplay diversity, gameplay mechanics, audio style and artistic direction. Each character genuinely has different playstyles both as an inherent character, and more to unlock for that same character- INSANE. This is a TOP TIER SSS+ Rank rogue-like game that rivals slay the spire, monster train and any other good rogue like you can think of.

Not only will you not regret buying this, but you will hope the developers will release more. Be it DLC or regular updates, we can only pray cause i'm HUNGRY for more of this game.

Its not that you got old and can't enjoy video games as much anymore.

I played this a lot more than steam will ever admit- I had an incredible time with my friends from middle school and highschool back in the day.

This has a special place in my heart, and I will come back to it someday to feel that excitement my younger self once did with half life 2 mods like this.

The foundation without a doubt exists for a fantastic sequel. While yes, there are optimization issues which cause a bit of lag here and there, lack of content and few things to unlock- there is a clear groundwork for a good game.
