I put 140+ hours into the original. The remaster feels better in numerous ways, while still lacking in others. I see a lot of reviews saying that the remaster is too similar to the original, while I feel that the new content is great. On the other hand, while bug issues do still exist, I haven't had them impact my gameplay very much yet. I think the remaster is a vast improvement, so if you like the original, get it with the new content for sure.

This game is an absolute gem that not enough people talk about. I think back on this game quite often simply because of how unique it is without sacrificing any of it's simplicity.

Maybe worth 5$ if you're really interested in the base building.

So far the game is very fun, but I would advise anybody who isn't sure if they want to buy to wait. There are some problems to be ironed out. Both mechanically and technically.

First of all, make sure you have cloud saving off for this game, it causes significant chugging when the game autosaves and even corrupted a save of mine.

On the other hand there are a few gameplay elements that are unclear, feel unfair, or you just have to suffer with until you can fix them.

Even in the early state that this game is in this game is a real indie gem. I think that maybe there isn't enough to do once you get to the late game, but there is a great deal of pleasure in setting up the logistics of your town.

This game is one of my favorites.

CK2 is an excellent game. It takes some time to learn. But not many other games will let you marry your sister and declare war on your infidel neighbors. 10/10

Oxenfree is a good game with a good mystery. I enjoyed figuring it out. There is a lot to unpack here for such a simple indie game. I certainly got my money out of it, and I'd highly recommend anyone play it.
