This game took me by surprise, the story can be a bit hows it going at times but overall I enjoyed it although I usually don't expect the best stories from space combat shooters. However the combat is crazy good and where this game truly shines.

Controls are fluid, responsive and can take some time to master. I finished it on hard and I felt the difficulty wasn't too crazy like I have seen some other people say, every time I died I was either being super greedy or messed up some dodge timings. The lock on beam can be a bit iffy to dodge at first but once you get the timings down its usually okay.

The Powers/Rites that you unlock through the story are fun to use and can change your play style up a bit to keep things fresh.

Side missions/random events exist and have a decent change of pace from the main story but nothing too crazy.
Graphics are some of the best I have seen for a space combat shooter.
Music and Ambience are 10/10 and the main theme goes hard.

I usually don't write reviews but felt this game deserved one.

One of the greatest RPG's of all time.

Been staring at my monitor for over 500 hours so far, still need a bit more time to make up my mind about it. Will update later
