A GOAT game, no doubt about it. The remake elevates it while at the same time letting you feel all the nostalgia from playing the original. I played the OG on 3 different consoles back in the day, but getting to play it again through the scope of this remake was something else.

Everything about it is amplified in some way. The sound design is better. The music is better. The lighting is better. It's phenomenal.

The game story itself still holds up. Leon's lines can be a bit cringey here and there but I'm not going to really complain about it.

TL;DR: Stepped in another bear trap.
